Dealing with Silent Treatment?

The silent treatment is a very popular tactic during or after an argument. It is often done out of anger, but can also be from sadness. Dealing with the silent treatment can vary. If the person given the silent treatment knows they were in the wrong, a sincere apology should be given. If the person given the silent treatment believes they are right, dealing with it can be a challenge. Even if they believe they are in the right, they should try to communicate with the other party.
